What is it?

Ingrid Analytics provides insights and metrics across orders, shipments, and operations — giving retailers the data they need to monitor, understand, and optimize their delivery experience. All key delivery metrics — from checkout conversion to carrier fulfillment — are available in one place.

Ingrid Analytics consists of two components:

Component

What it provides

Where to access

Dashboards

Visual metrics and breakdowns for monitoring key delivery outcomes

Ingrid Merchant Platform (MAD)

Curated merchant data

Detailed, cleaned order and parcel data ready for analysis and reporting

Ingrid BigQuery data warehouse

Key benefits

  • Monitor delivery performance in one place — track checkout conversion, delivery fulfillment, carrier performance, and tracking engagement from a single platform

  • Data-driven decisions — understand how delivery options affect conversion, which carriers deliver on time, and where bottlenecks occur

  • Flexible reporting — use built-in dashboards for day-to-day monitoring, or pull curated data into your own BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) for custom analysis

  • Cross-product visibility — dashboards and data cover Checkout, Tracking, Transport, and Returns

  • Always current — dashboards and curated data are updated daily

Dashboards

Product-specific dashboards are available for Checkout, Tracking, and Transport in the Ingrid Merchant Platform. A Returns dashboard is also available in the Returns Back Office; MAD integration is planned.

  • Average number of carrier products shown

  • Carrier product conversion

  • Average delivery fee and cart value

  • Average cart weight and % free delivery

  • Submitted-to-carrier promise and customer delivery promise

Breakdowns: Delivery type, country, carrier, carrier product
Filters: Date, country, region, carrier, carrier product, A/B test

Tracking dashboard

Understand post-purchase delivery performance and shopper engagement.

Key metrics:

  • Tracking numbers and fulfillment rate

  • Days to fulfillment and % fulfilled early/on time/late

Transport dashboard

Track shipment booking and carrier execution performance.

Key metrics:

  • Booked shipments (outbound + return)

  • Days booked-to-carrier-hands

  • Days to carrier fulfillment

  • Days booked-to-carrier-fulfillment

  • Fulfilled parcels and parcels submitted

Breakdowns: Country, carrier, carrier product

Returns dashboard

Track returns, exchanges, refunds, and complaint outcomes. Currently available in the Returns Back Office. MAD integration is planned, though the exact timeline is not yet confirmed.

Key metrics:

  • Return, complaint, and exchange volumes and rates

  • Return values

  • Return completion tracker, status volumes, and time spent in steps

  • Complaint outcomes over time

  • Refund volumes and values

Breakdowns: Return reasons, return status, refund type (gift card vs basic), exchange sources (from complaint vs standard)
Filters: Date, country, carrier, return channel (Ingrid vs external)

In addition to high-level metrics, deeper Returns dashboard views provide extra insights at SKU level — including return reasons and sub-reasons, and complaint reasons and sub-reasons.

How retailers use it

Curated data can be transferred to a retailer's own data warehouse and connected to their preferred BI tool:

Transfer tools: Python, Airbyte, Fivetran
Retailer warehouses: AWS, Snowflake, or any data warehouse
BI tools: Tableau, Power BI, or any reporting tool

Retailers can also connect their BI tool directly to the Ingrid data warehouse for real-time access.

Use cases

Optimizing checkout conversion

A retailer notices that checkout conversion varies by country. Using the Checkout dashboard, they discover that Germany has significantly lower conversion than Sweden. By breaking down by carrier product, they find that German shoppers are shown too many delivery options — creating decision fatigue. They reduce the options to three, and conversion improves.

Monitoring carrier fulfillment performance

A retailer uses the Tracking dashboard to track % fulfilled on time by carrier. They identify that one carrier consistently delivers late in a specific region. With this data, they negotiate SLA improvements or route shipments to a better-performing carrier in that region using Automated Booking Rules.

Building a custom delivery performance report

A retailer's data team connects to Ingrid's BigQuery data via Fivetran, pulls data into Snowflake, and builds a custom delivery performance dashboard in Tableau that combines Ingrid data with their own order and revenue data — giving a complete picture of how delivery affects their bottom line.

Reducing returns through reason analysis

A retailer uses the Returns dashboard to track return rates and breaks them down by return reason. The top reason is "sizing issue" for a specific product category. They update sizing guides on product pages and monitor the return rate dropping over the following weeks.

General information

  • Dashboards are site-level (one dashboard per merchant site)

  • Curated merchant data is available for the last 31 days (except for the reporting layer, which has extended retention)

  • Ingrid reserves the right to update standard dashboard content
