What it is
In-store click & collect (also called in-store pickup, or ship-from-store) lets your shoppers choose to collect their order in one of your physical stores at checkout. It appears alongside home delivery and pickup points, and can optionally show only the stores that actually have the items in stock.
Behind the scenes it's a pickup-type custom shipping method with a set of store locations attached to it.
How to set it up
There are two parts:
Ingrid sets up the in-store method. Because it's a custom shipping method, Ingrid creates it for you. Contact your implementation team or ask Iris, Ingrid's AI assistant, in the chat on the Ingrid Help Center, and say you want an in-store (pickup) method. Iris can hand your request over to the Ingrid team or create a ticket for you. If you can't reach Iris, email [email protected].
You manage your store locations yourself through the Ingrid API. For each store you provide its name, your own store ID, the visiting address, the opening hours, and the order cutoff times — then add, update, or remove stores whenever you need to.
Showing only stores that have the items
You can pair in-store pickup with fulfillment check, which checks stock at each store so shoppers only see the stores that can fulfill their order. Without it, all your configured stores are shown.
Managing your stores
Add, update, or remove stores at any time through the locations API (or ask support). To turn off click & collect for specific stores, remove those store locations.
